Anonymous asked: I'm contemplating moving to Chicago, but I have no idea where to start. What areas do you recommend looking at? I visited a friend in Logan Square and I loved it.

Yes I would definitely recommend moving to Logan Square. It’s still affordable, there are great bars and restaurants, and it seems like all the cool Tumblr kids live there.

I’m not going to lie to you, I really love Antony Gormley’s installation “Event Horizon”. It’s a series of sculptures of people standing on the edge of buildings around Madison Square. I can totally see how people freaked out about it when it was first put up. There’s something very disconcerting about being surrounded by all these figures standing high above you.

A touch short notice, but if you’re in New York you should check out my friend Dominic’s show “Time For Water” at UCB tonight at 7:30.

Guaranteed laughs.

Anonymous asked: I am enjoying your photos. I'd love to know what kind of camera you use to take them?

Thanks very much, I just use a little old Canon Rebel XTI usually with a 28-135mm Canon lens.
