Dean is in town, visiting from Chicago. He’s here to write his next movie.
He’s simply one of my favorite people. Just a straight up great guy. And a ton of fun to hang out with.
Last night we knocked back a few and messed around with cameras on my roof.
Sorry if this makes you nauseous.
Lauren was kind of enough to let me crash at her place while I was in New York. She is hitting the road tomorrow to go on a long road trip which makes me incredibly jealous.
I don’t care how much of a rush you’re in to premiere the trailer of Welcome To The Rileys, you wait until you’re able to throw together a real poster.
New York.
Well, what can I say? Anyone that knows me knows that I love this town. Granted, I have a highly romanticized vision of this city that 1 week trips are able to afford, but I think a lot of it probably holds true the other 358 days of the year.
I was telling Lauren yesterday there is an intangible quality that sets it apart from any other city, I don’t know what but there is just something about this city that gets me. The curbs are unique, the store fronts are unique, the cafes are unique. There is always interesting stuff happening, always something to see or something to do. You would think that Chicago and New York are similar since they’re both big cities, but they are like two separate planets. Both good in their own way, just different.
This city really is an experience and I’m glad I have 6 more days of it.
