You know those books that are so good that you take the extra long route home on the subway so you can squeeze in a few more pages? That is so compelling you pick it up while you’re waiting for your girlfriend to blow dry her hair so you can read a little. That’s so sad it makes you want to hug all your loved ones because you realize your time with them is limited. That’s so relevant to your current life that it gently reassures you that you’re not totally misguided or on the wrong path.
Yeah, that’s pretty much what Just Kids was like for me.
